In an era when mobile photography was just gaining popularity, the KE970 Shine featured a single 2-megapixel main camera. Equipped with Schneider-Kreuznach optics and an LED flash, it was capable of capturing photos with decent quality, primarily intended for casual photography. The autofocus feature was somewhat advanced for a phone camera back then, helping to produce sharper images than many competitors. However, it lacked a front camera, so selfie-taking was out of the question.
