Design and Build
The LG KF300 is a compact flip phone with dimensions of 99 x 50 x 16 mm, making it a convenient fit for both palm and pocket. Weighing just 97 grams, the phone managed to be portable without sacrificing sturdiness. Its design included a charming clamshell mechanism that not only protected the keypad and inner screen but also provided a sense of satisfaction when ending a call. The body accommodates a mini-SIM card, which was standard during its release period.
The main TFT display boasts 256K colors over a modest 2.2-inch screen, rendering visuals with a 240 x 320 pixel resolution. This is paired with a second external display offering a smaller 1.3-inch screen for quick notifications like incoming calls or message alerts. While neither display would compete with today’s high-resolution screens, they served their purposes effectively at the time.
