The LG KF700’s design philosophy merged both modernity and functionality, characterized by its compact and sleek body with dimensions of 102 x 51 x 14.5 mm, and a weight of 107 grams. This not only made the phone portable but also comfortable to hold. The device featured a 3.0-inch TFT resistive touchscreen with a resolution of 240 x 480 pixels, offering a modest output of 256K colors. While the screen-to-body ratio stood at roughly 44.6%, which is quite low by today’s standards, it was quite customary for the period. The use of a resistive touchscreen required users to apply a certain pressure, a marked contrast from the more intuitive capacitive screens that gained popularity in later years.
