The simplicity of the LG KP170 extends to its connectivity. It supports 2G GSM networks without GPRS Class 10, but lacks more advanced connectivity options such as EDGE, Wi-Fi, and GPS. Bluetooth 2.0 is available, enabling basic wireless file transfers. The phone does include USB 2.0 support for wired data connections. Users can send SMS, EMS, and MMS messages through its WAP 2.0/xHTML browser, while Java MIDP 2.0 compatibility allows for basic application support. Traditional phone features such as call records and an organizer function cater to practical needs, with a limited set of pre-installed games for occasional entertainment.
