For photography needs, the LG L342i comes with a single VGA camera on the back. This camera is suitable for taking basic photos in good lighting conditions, but it lacks video recording capabilities and a selfie camera, which limits its functionality by today's standards. Nonetheless, for a phone released in 2005, having any built-in camera feature was a worthwhile addition.
