Outfitted with a dual-core 1.5 GHz Scorpion processor and an Adreno 220 GPU, the Nitro HD delivers sufficient performance for the OS and applications of its time. Initially running Android 2.3.5 (Gingerbread), it is upgradable to Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich), bringing in features and UI improvements that were significant upgrades for users then. Although it only has 1GB of RAM, which can be limiting by today's standards, the device was tailored to manage tasks efficiently under typical use scenarios of that era, like browsing and streaming.
