One of the highlights of the Optimus Black was its 4.0-inch IPS LCD, which at launch was notable for delivering rich colors and wide viewing angles. With a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels and a pixel density of approximately 233 ppi, the display quality was considered sharp and vibrant for the mid-range segment. Protected by Corning Gorilla Glass, the screen offered some durability against scratches and minor impacts. The inclusion of Gesture UI 2.0 allowed for intuitive interactions beyond standard swipe and tap commands, enhancing user engagement.
