Performance and Hardware
Under the hood, the LG Optimus Black featured a TI OMAP 3630 chipset with a 1.0 GHz Cortex-A8 CPU and PowerVR SGX530 GPU. Coupled with 512MB of RAM, the phone offered reasonable performance for its time, managing everyday tasks smoothly, including web browsing, social media, and light gaming. However, multitasking and running more demanding applications could sometimes strain its limited processing capabilities. The internal storage of 2GB, expandable via a microSDHC card, was somewhat restricting for users requiring more storage for apps and media.
