LG Optimus Net Dual Performance and Software

Performance and Software

Under the hood, the LG Optimus Net Dual runs on the Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread OS, powered by the Qualcomm MSM7227T Snapdragon S1 chipset. It features an 800 MHz ARMv6 CPU and an Adreno 200 GPU, which were considered entry-level even in 2011. The 512MB RAM capacity, coupled with only 150MB of internal storage, requires users to leverage the microSDHC card slot for expanded storage, a necessity given the OS and application demands. Despite these limitations, the device was capable of handling basic smartphone tasks such as calling, texting, and browsing, with some performance slowdown in more demanding applications.
