In terms of connectivity, the Optimus S supported CDMA network technology, including EVDO for 3G connectivity, with browsing speeds up to 153.2 Kbps, which could have been limiting. Wi-Fi capabilities allowed it to connect to local networks, and Bluetooth 2.1 supported additional gadgets and accessories. The presence of GPS and A-GPS facilitated location services. It included basic sensors such as an accelerometer, proximity sensor, and compass, which contributed to its effectiveness for navigation and general phone orientation needs.
