Performance and Software
The phone is powered by a 600 MHz ARM 11 processor with a Qualcomm MSM7227 Snapdragon S1 chipset and an Adreno 200 GPU. It originally shipped with Android 2.2 (Froyo) but is upgradable to Android 2.3 (Gingerbread). Although these specifications are rudimentary compared to modern smartphones, they were sufficient for running essential applications and performing basic functions. The phone comes with 160MB of internal storage, expandable via a dedicated microSDHC slot, with a 2GB card included. This limited internal storage capacity, however, quickly becomes a constraint as the user begins to accumulate apps and data.
