Camera Capabilities
For photography, the LG U830 was equipped with a 2 MP rear camera, which in its time was sufficient for capturing simple snapshots and photos to be shared via MMS or stored on the device. An added LED flash improved its functionality in low-light conditions. A VGA videocall camera on the phone facilitated video calls over 3G, reflecting the early adoption of video calling functionality in mobile devices. The video recording capability, though basic, allowed for capturing brief moments on the go.
