Performance and Software

Under the hood, the LG V30 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset, built on a 10nm process, and utilizes an octa-core CPU configuration. This includes four cores clocked at 2.45 GHz for performance-intensive tasks and four cores at 1.9 GHz for efficiency. The Adreno 540 GPU handles graphic processing tasks, making the device suitable for gaming and multimedia applications. The phone originally ran on Android 7.1.2 Nougat but is upgradable to Android 9.0 Pie, ensuring it could stay relevant with newer software features for its time.

The LG V30 offers two internal storage options: 64GB or 128GB, both paired with 4GB of RAM and utilizing the UFS 2.1 standard for faster read/write speeds. Storage is expandable via microSDXC, giving users additional flexibility. In the single-SIM model, a dedicated microSD slot is available, while in the dual-SIM model, the microSD card uses a shared SIM slot.
