Design and Display
One of the most striking aspects of the LG Vu 3 is its design. The phone features an unconventional 4:3 aspect ratio on its 5.2-inch True HD-IPS LCD display. This choice, along with a resolution of 960 x 1280 pixels, results in a density of approximately 308 ppi. The use of Corning Gorilla Glass 2 ensures a degree of protection against scratches and minor impacts. This aspect ratio was designed to facilitate reading and web browsing but could feel awkward compared to the more common 16:9 ratios used by most competitors of its time. The Vu 3 also feels compact, though substantial, due to its sizable screen overshadowing the carefully crafted body dimensions.
