On the messaging front, the MX-7830 supports SMS and Enhanced Messaging Service (EMS), augmenting plain text with simple media. Web connectivity is aired through a WAP 1.2.1 browser, offering access to basic web pages. Though there are games included, the performance is modest, and with no Java support, additional application downloads are not an option. However, the phone does provide predictive text input, increasing typing efficiency.
