Connectivity and Communication
Designed for 2G GSM networks operating on 900/1800 bands, the Maxon MX-C180 supported GPRS for basic data connectivity but lacked EDGE technology. The phone did not feature any of the modern connectivity options like WLAN, Bluetooth, or GPS, which were not commonplace at the time of its release. Its communication features were facilitated through messaging services including SMS, EMS, MMS, and Email, with a WAP 2.0/xHTML browser allowing for rudimentary web browsing.
