Performance and Software
Running on Android 4.4.2 KitKat, the Astro 3.5 offers a straightforward user experience. The Mediatek MT6572M chipset, along with a dual-core 1.0 GHz Cortex-A7 CPU and Mali-400 GPU, powers the device. While this setup sounds archaic by today's standards, it was sufficient for basic tasks like calling, texting, and using lightweight apps in 2015. Challenging tasks or running multiple applications simultaneously, however, would lead to performance issues, especially given the phone's limited memory capacity of 512MB storage and 256MB RAM. Fortunately, the inclusion of a microSDHC card slot provides an opportunity to expand storage, something many users would find necessary.
