Design and Display
The Maxwest Orbit X50 features a reasonably compact design with dimensions measuring 152 x 78 x 9.9 mm. Weighing 127 grams without the battery, the phone is fairly lightweight, making it comfortable to hold and carry. Its design accommodates dual SIM functionality, a feature that was particularly appealing to users managing multiple phone numbers for work and personal use.
The device sports a 5-inch LED-backlit IPS LCD display with a resolution of 540 x 960 pixels, giving it a pixel density of around 220 ppi. Although not ground-breaking, this display resolution was decent for its time, ensuring clear and adequately vibrant visuals for basic media consumption and everyday use. However, the screen-to-body ratio of approximately 58.1% might seem less than optimal today, resulting in noticeably thick bezels by modern standards.
