The camera captures decent quality photos with good color reproduction in well-lit conditions. Low-light performance is average, which is typical at this price range. Video recording is supported at 1080p@30fps, both for the main and the 5 MP front camera, which is serviceable for casual selfies and video chats but not groundbreaking.
