Performance and Software
Running on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, the Micromax A089 Bolt was powered by a Mediatek MT6572 chipset. This chipset, with its dual-core 1.3 GHz Cortex-A7 processor and Mali-400 GPU, was aligned with the performance expectations of an entry-level smartphone. While it handled basic operations well, multitasking or running more demanding apps could have posed challenges due to the limited 512MB RAM and 4GB of internal storage. Users, however, had the option to expand storage through a microSDHC card.
