Design and Build
Sporting a typical design for smartphones of its era, the Micromax Canvas XL2 had a sizeable footprint due to its large 5.5-inch IPS LCD display, which was suitable for media consumption at the time. However, its 540 x 960 resolution resulted in a rather low pixel density of around 200 ppi, which meant that the display was not as sharp other more expensive models of the time. The absence of detailed information on the build materials and weight suggests a basic plastic construction, typical of budget-friendly devices.
The phone's form factor allowed for a dual SIM configuration, providing flexibility for the user to manage two networks simultaneously, which was a significant advantage for travelers or those who want to separate work from personal life.
