At the core of the Canvas Ego is a quad-core 1.2 GHz processor paired with 1GB of RAM, running Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean. This setup provided a decent performance level when it launched, allowing users to run a host of common applications fairly smoothly. Multitasking and running heavier apps could push the limits of its capabilities, though. With only 4GB of internal storage, users quickly found the need to utilize the microSDHC slot to expand storage, highlighting the limited onboard storage as a constraint for users with extensive media libraries or large applications.
