Micromax A115 Canvas 3D Performance and Operating System

Performance and Operating System

Under the hood, the Canvas 3D was powered by a dual-core 1.2 GHz Cortex-A9 processor, paired with a PowerVR SGX531u GPU. It ran on Android 4.1.2, Jelly Bean, which was one of the better Android versions at the time, known for its smooth performance and user-friendly interface. The Mediatek MT6577T chipset, built on a 40nm process, supported the phone's basic multitasking needs, though the limited 512 MB of RAM could restrict its capacity to handle more demanding applications or multiple processes efficiently. Storage-wise, the phone came with an internal space of 4GB, which was quite limited even then, but it could be expanded using a microSDHC card, offering some relief in terms of storage for apps and media.
