At its core, the device runs on a Mediatek MT6582 chipset with a quad-core 1.3 GHz Cortex-A7 processor and a Mali-400MP2 GPU. Paired with 1GB of RAM, the phone was equipped to handle basic applications and multitask with minimal lag, albeit heavy applications would challenge its performance. The phone originally shipped with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, which, though stable, is now considered outdated with many unaddressed security updates and the lack of modern apps.
