Performance
Powered by a Mediatek MT6575 chipset with a 1.0 GHz Cortex-A9 CPU and a PowerVR SGX531 GPU, the Micromax A52 was capable of handling basic smartphone tasks. The performance was suitable for casual use, including social media browsing and running light applications. It ran on Android 2.3 (Gingerbread), which was the standard for lower-end Android devices. The internal storage of 160MB was quite limited, but it was expandable via a microSDHC card, allowing users to store more media and applications.
