Performance and Software
At its core, the Micromax A85 houses an Nvidia Tegra 2 AP20H chipset. The dual-core 1.0 GHz Cortex-A9 processor, coupled with a ULP GeForce GPU, was quite notable at the time, offering sufficient performance for basic tasks and multimedia playback. It ran on Android 2.2 (Froyo), an aging platform even back then, which limits its compatibility with newer apps and services. Nonetheless, for early adopters of Android, it was a gateway to an expanding ecosystem of apps.
