Running on the Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional operating system, the Micromax W900 was positioned for business users who required basic office applications and organizational tools. The device is powered by a 460MHz K3 Hi3611 processor, which enables it to handle basic tasks but may struggle with multitasking or more demanding applications. The internal memory supports 256MB ROM and 128MB RAM, alongside a microSDHC card slot with a 2GB card included, which at the time provided adequate storage expandability.
