The X1i operates entirely on GSM 2G technology, supporting the 900/1800 MHz bands. It is designed for basic phone calls and texting, without any data capabilities like GPRS or EDGE. As such, it excludes typical smartphone features such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and USB connectivity. The phone does not have a camera or radio, and notably, lacks a 3.5mm audio jack, which limits its appeal as a multimedia device. Its sound capabilities are limited to the built-in loudspeaker.
