Microsoft Kin Two Performance and Software

Performance and Software

At its core, the Kin Two was powered by an Nvidia Tegra chipset with a 600MHz ARM 11 CPU. This offered adequate performance for managing social networks, messaging, and basic applications, but was underpowered compared to contemporaneous smartphones. The phone lacked multitasking capabilities, which, coupled with the omission of a card slot for expandable memory, limited its versatility. It included 256MB of RAM paired with 8GB of internal storage for apps and media, which was ample for a device not positioned as a high-capacity multimedia phone.
