Photography was one of the stronger propositions of the Lumia series, and the Lumia 850 aimed to uphold that reputation with a 10 MP rear camera. This camera included notable features like Carl Zeiss optics, autofocus (AF), and optical image stabilization (OIS), which collectively promised better photo quality, especially in low-light conditions. The ability to capture videos at 1080p with stereo sound recording was also a valuable addition for video enthusiasts. The 2 MP front camera, while modest, included an LED flash to assist with selfies and video calls.
