Display
Sporting a 2.7-inch TFT resistive touchscreen with a 240 x 320 pixel resolution, the screen of the MIO A502 delivered a visual experience in line with other devices from the period. The 256K color display was capable of basic tasks, albeit with a lower screen-to-body ratio of around 39.6%, highlighting the large bezels common at the time. The resistive nature necessitated pressure for touch inputs, which also enabled handwriting recognition, a somewhat novel feature during its intended release.
