Equipped with a 2.7-inch TFT resistive touchscreen, the MIO A701 offers a display resolution of 240 x 320 pixels with a 4:3 aspect ratio. The screen, delivering only 65K colors, might appear limited today but was adequate for its era. The modest screen-to-body ratio of approximately 32.7% reflects older design philosophies, but it includes the functionality of handwriting recognition, enhancing input flexibility in the absence of a physical keyboard.
