Display
Sporting a 2.4-inch TFT resistive touchscreen that displays up to 256K colors, the Motorola A1800’s screen is rich and vibrant for its time. However, with a screen resolution of 240 x 320 pixels and a pixel density of about 167 ppi, its visual performance, while acceptable for 2009, lacks the clarity and sharpness we've come to expect today. Additional features of note include handwriting and speech recognition, both in Chinese and English, which were quite advanced for the time, catering to a more tech-savvy audience.
