Design and Build
The Motorola A630 features a clamshell design which was popular at the time, with a size of 99 x 45 x 23 mm and a weight of 100 grams. This made it both compact and sturdy. The phone's signature feature is its surprise QWERTY keyboard, revealed when opened horizontally, making it reminiscent of mini laptops or early personal digital assistants (PDAs). This design was particularly targeted towards users who needed to type messages and emails more efficiently than what typical numeric keypads allowed. The phone uses a Mini-SIM and has a robust build, suitable for everyday use.
