Connectivity
One of the A830's significant selling points was its support for 2G GSM and 3G UMTS networks with a data speed of up to 384 kbps, which was cutting-edge at launch. It also included basic Bluetooth 1.1 for file transfers with compatible devices and an infrared port, a common feature for data exchange before Bluetooth became ubiquitous. However, it lacked Wi-Fi and GPS, limiting its connectivity options by today’s standards.
