Hardware and Performance
Reflecting on the technological constraints of its era, the Motorola C289 lacks modern connectivity options such as Bluetooth and WLAN, and does not support GPRS or EDGE. Consequently, internet access and data transmission are extremely limited, with only a WAP browser available for basic web navigation. The phone relies on 2G GSM networks, which were prevalent during its launch period. Internally, the C289 does not offer a card slot for expandable memory but allows storage for up to 250 phonebook entries, suitable for the average user's contact list at the time.
