Performance
Under the hood, the DROID Maxx was powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro chipset, featuring a dual-core 1.7 GHz Krait CPU and the Adreno 320 GPU. Initially, it ran on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, which was standard when the phone was released but may now feel quite dated. With 2GB of RAM, the device was capable of handling multiple apps and moderate multitasking with relative ease, though more demanding applications might have strained its performance limits.
