Performance and Software
Under the hood, the DROID Mini is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro chipset, with a dual-core 1.7 GHz Krait processor and an Adreno 320 GPU. Paired with 2GB of RAM, this configuration offered competent performance for daily tasks and light to moderate multitasking. Running on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean at release, the phone delivered a relatively smooth user experience with the range of features available in the Jelly Bean OS. While the lack of expandable storage might disappoint some users, the 16GB of internal memory was standard for devices in this category at the time.
