Motorola DROID Ultra Performance and Software

Performance and Software

Under the hood, the DROID Ultra is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro chipset, featuring a dual-core 1.7 GHz Krait CPU and an Adreno 320 GPU. It comes with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, a combination that was sufficient for the needs of 2013 but does not cater to the more storage-driven demands of today. Unfortunately, it lacks a memory card slot, potentially limiting the expansion options.

The phone originally ships with Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, offering a near-stock experience that Motorola smartphones were known for. This makes for a clean user interface and generally smooth performance. However, users might find the operating system outdated due to the lack of support for newer applications and updates.
