Motorola included a single 3.15 MP camera in the EX128, which can take standard photos and videos at QCIF resolution with a frame rate of 15fps. While the camera's capabilities are modest, it served the purpose of capturing basic, low-resolution images. Notably absent is a front-facing camera, reflecting the limited focus on selfies at the time. The phone supports various multimedia functions, such as MP3/WAV/eAAC+ audio playback, along with the presence of a 3.5mm headphone jack and a stereo FM radio with RDS for music lovers.
