Running on Android 2.3.4 (Gingerbread), the Motorola FIRE XT was powered by the Qualcomm MSM7227T-1 Snapdragon S1 chipset. With an 800 MHz CPU and an Adreno 200 GPU, the device was designed to handle basic tasks such as calls, messaging, and light web browsing. It houses 512MB of RAM and an equivalent amount of internal storage, expandable via a dedicated microSDHC slot with a 2 GB card included. While the performance can seem sluggish compared to current standards, it proved sufficient for the needs of the time.
