Design and Display
Motorola crafted the GLEAM+ with simplicity and elegance in mind. Its dimensions, 107 x 52.5 x 13.5 mm, and a light weight of 105 g create a compact and comfortable handhold, easy to slip into pockets and purses. The device's design reflects a sleek, minimalistic aesthetic, available in Winter White and Silver to cater to user preferences for color. The exterior features an intriguing secondary display that uses icons to notify users of missed calls, messages, and other alerts without having to open the flip—an elegant touch for a non-smartphone device.
The main display, while modest, is a TFT screen capable of displaying 256K colors. Its 2.8-inch size, with a resolution of 240 x 400 pixels, occupies around 39.7% of the phone's body, indicative of thicker bezels typical of the era and form factor. Despite its relatively low pixel density of 167 ppi, the display is sufficient for basic tasks like text messaging and menu navigation, although not ideal for extensive media consumption or internet browsing.
