Under the hood, the MILESTONE XT720 is powered by a 600 MHz Cortex-A8 processor and a PowerVR SGX530 GPU. Running on Android 2.1 Eclair, the device delivers modest performance suitable for basic tasks and some of the lighter applications available at the time. With 512MB of internal storage and 256MB of RAM, the phone offers limited multitasking and storage capacity, but this was compensated by the inclusion of an 8GB microSD card to expand available storage.
