Performance and Software
Powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon chipsets, the Moto E offers varying performance capabilities across its models. The 3G version features a Snapdragon 200 with a quad-core Cortex-A7 CPU, while the LTE model sports the more robust Snapdragon 410 paired with a quad-core Cortex-A53 processor. Both versions include 1GB of RAM, which can handle basic tasks smoothly, although multitasking and demanding apps are slightly challenged by the limited memory.
Initially shipped with Android 5.0/5.1 Lollipop, the device is upgradable to Android 6.0 Marshmallow, enhancing the user experience with improved interface and features. While this operating system is outdated by today's standards, it was quite responsive at the time of its release, offering essential apps and services with minimal bloatware.
