Motorola Moto E Performance

Performance

Under the hood, the Moto E is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 chipset, with a dual-core 1.2 GHz Cortex-A7 CPU and an Adreno 302 GPU. Combined with 1GB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage, the performance is understandably limited to basic functions, such as texting, calls, and light app use. Multitasking or running intensive applications may introduce lag due to the hardware constraints. The device originally shipped with Android 4.4.2 KitKat but is upgradeable to Android 5.1 Lollipop, giving users access to fundamental Android features and a somewhat modernized user experience.
