Performance and Software
Under the hood, the global and US versions of the phone run on different Qualcomm Snapdragon chipsets. The global variant is powered by the octa-core Snapdragon 430, while the U.S. version uses the quad-core Snapdragon 427. While not the most powerful processors on the market, they handle everyday tasks and apps efficiently. Graphics are managed by the Adreno 505 GPU globally and Adreno 308 for the U.S., sufficient for casual gaming and media consumption. Initially shipped with Android 8.0 (Oreo), it can be upgraded to Android 9.0 (Pie), providing a near-stock Android experience that ensures smooth operation and moderate customization.
