Performance
Under the hood, the MOTO ME525 is powered by the TI OMAP 3610 chipset, featuring an 800 MHz Cortex-A8 CPU and a PowerVR SGX530 GPU. Such specifications were modest even at the time of release, making the phone suitable for basic tasks such as calling, texting, and light browsing rather than intensive applications or gaming. The Android 2.2 (Froyo) operating system, though outdated now, was fairly standard back then and offered essential features and functionalities. With 512MB of RAM and 2GB of internal storage, the phone could handle essential apps, although expansion via a microSDHC card was required for more storage, which was a common setup in phones of that period.
