Performance and Software
Powered by a dual-core 1.0 GHz Cortex-A9 CPU and Nvidia’s Tegra 2 AP20H chipset, the XT882 was designed for performance efficiency. The integration of the ULP GeForce GPU allowed for reasonably smooth graphics rendering, enhancing the gaming experience on Android’s then-growing ecosystem. With 512MB of RAM, the device was capable of handling moderate multitasking, a key requirement for users in the early 2010s. However, heavy applications might push it to its limits. The device came preloaded with Android 2.3 Gingerbread, which offered improved performance over its predecessors and better power management.
