Motorola MPx220 Design and Build

Design and Build

The phone sports a compact and elegant design typical of early-2000s flip phones. Measuring 100 x 48 x 24.3 mm and weighing 110 grams, it feels substantial yet comfortable in the hand. Its silver-colored body exhibits a professional aura, aligning with its positioning as a business-centric device. The dual-display design is a prominent feature. The primary TFT display measures 2.0 inches with a resolution of 176 x 220 pixels. While not expansive by today’s standards, it provided adequate clarity and color depth courtesy of its 65k color support, even if it covered just over a quarter of the phone's front surface. The secondary CSTN display, offering 4096 colors and a resolution of 96 x 64 pixels, allowed users to quickly check basic information like time and notifications without flipping open the device.
