Motorola ROKR E6 Performance and Software

Performance and Software

The ROKR E6 is powered by a 32-bit Intel XScale PXA270 processor running at 312 MHz, based on a Linux operating system. While this setup may seem basic today, it handled tasks respectably then. Processing power allowed for efficient use of preinstalled applications, and Motorola's decision to employ a Linux OS was groundbreaking for a phone. However, memory limitations were marked, with only 8MB of internal storage, though expandable up to 2GB via an SD card slot, making room for additional multimedia files.
